Welcome to Hirro (“Hirro,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). Hirro is a video-first platform designed to help students and employers connect through short-form video content for internship discovery and early-career opportunities.
By accessing or using Hirro’s website, mobile applications, or related services (collectively, the “Platform”), you agree to these Terms of Use (“Terms”). If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
1. Eligibility & Accounts
Students
You must be at least 18 years old and currently enrolled in, or recently graduated from, an accredited educational institution to create a student account. You agree that all information you provide is accurate and up to date.
Employers
Employer accounts must be created by an authorized representative of a company or organization. You represent that you have the authority to act on behalf of your organization.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.
2. Platform Purpose
Hirro facilitates discovery and connections between students and employers through short-form video profiles and internship listings. Hirro does not guarantee interviews, offers, placements, or hiring outcomes for any user.
Hirro is not an employment agency, recruiter, or staffing firm.
3. Content & Video Submissions
Users may upload videos, text, images, and other content (“User Content”) to the Platform.
By submitting content, you confirm that:
- You own or have the right to use all content submitted
- Your content does not infringe on third-party rights
- Your content is truthful, professional, and lawful
You grant Hirro a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to host, display, distribute, and promote your content as part of the Platform and Hirro marketing efforts.
Hirro reserves the right to remove content that violates these Terms or applicable laws.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Misrepresent your identity, qualifications, or organization
- Upload offensive, discriminatory, or misleading content
- Use the Platform for spam, solicitation, or unauthorized marketing
- Circumvent or misuse Platform features or security measures
Employers agree not to post misleading internship information or misuse student data.
Students agree not to submit false information or impersonate others.
5. Matching, Messaging & Scheduling
Hirro uses profile information and engagement signals to curate and display potential matches. Matching does not imply endorsement or obligation by either party.
Messaging and scheduling features (including third-party tools such as Calendly) are provided for convenience. Hirro is not responsible for interview outcomes, scheduling conflicts, or third-party services.
6. Data & Privacy
Your use of Hirro is subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your data.
You agree not to misuse or share other users’ personal information outside the Platform.
7. Intellectual Property
All Platform technology, branding, and design are owned by Hirro or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any portion of the Platform without permission.
8. Termination
Hirro may suspend or terminate accounts at any time for violations of these Terms or behavior that harms the Platform or its users.
You may delete your account at any time through the Platform or by contacting us.
9. Disclaimers
Hirro is provided “as is” and “as available.” We make no warranties regarding availability, accuracy, or outcomes.
Hirro does not verify the background, conduct, or qualifications of users and is not responsible for interactions between users.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hirro shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
